What will we do during classes?

Practicing yoga leads to better health, less stress and happier, more peaceful mind. Yoga's healing benefits come from its integrated approach to working with the body and mind. The combination of different poses and deep breathing increases the body's capacity to renew itself.


I consider yoga practice as work with energy. In hatha yoga, we are learning to balance our energy, and it makes positive effect on all systems of the body.

Breathing(pranayama), working with energetic locks(bandhas), building healthy aligned postures(asanas), all these are tools that we can use to manage the energy flow. We can divide asanas into groups: forward bends, back bends, balances, twists, inversions.


Every asana has a purpose. By combining asanas wisely, making healthy alignments in asanas, using the rules of biomechanics and knowledge of anatomy, we create a space in our bodies to let the energy flow freely.

What should I take to be ready?

For more comfort and better results I recommend having just a few things:

Stable internet

Comfortable clothes

Mat

Yoga blocks (or any thick book) and yoga belt (or a casual belt)
